Dear Regular Hirers, Customers & Visitors
Community Centre Closure: – As of Friday 20th March’20
Due to the current difficult times we are all experiencing, relating to Co-VID 19, it is with
regret that St Mary’s Island Community Centre under Chatham Maritime Trust have decided
to close it’s building to all hire and usage for the foreseeable future.
As you will understand this is completely out of our control and we are observing
Government guidelines in protecting our staff, hirers and our community.
The staff at the centre will be working behind closed doors in the coming weeks, hours will
be variable, please check our answer phone and website for updates. Be assured that we
will remain in touch with our valued hirers and visitors, to keep you posted on any changes.
We are uncertain of how long this closure will be in place, and again we will need to follow
future guidelines and advice. Your regular hirer slots and times will remain in place for as
and when we can re-open. If you have a One-Off private hire booking you will be contacted shortly,
or if you are concerned about a future booking, please contact us to discuss.
